Our attempt at building a UAV

Back in high school, a few friends and I decided to enter TEKNOFEST’s UAV competition.

We formed a team called GÖK-TÜRK and set out to design our own aircraft. None of us had much experience with aerospace engineering, but we had a lot of enthusiasm.

We never actually got it flying, but I still remember all the time we spent together figuring things out, making plans, and working on our submission.

Looking back, it’s one of those high-school projects I remember less for what we accomplished and more for how much fun we had working on it together.
